Please join us on October 21, 2013 for Lorraine Madway’s preaentation of “Images of Depression-Era Work in Kansas Post Office Murals”. We will begin at 11:30 a..m. with a covered dish lunch. After a short business meeting, Lorraine will give her presentation. This is held at the Kearny County Senior Center, 305 N Kansas Ave, Lakin, KS. Everyone is welcome.

Join us at the library on Monday, October 7, 2013 for Star Wars Reads Day!
We will begin at 4:00 pm and go until 7:00pm.
There will be screenings of Lego’s Padawan Menace and Empire Strikes Out and the Clone Wars Movie. Star Wars crafts will be available which will include Cubees. See different collectibles from the Star Wars Universe and we will have snacks too! You can also win prizes!

The library will be closing at 3:30 pm on Friday so the staff can participate in the Deerfield Spartans homecoming parade. Come out and help the staff cheer the Spartans to a win! The library will reopen at 10:00 am on Saturaday morning!
