Do you have a child or children ages birth to two years of age? Are you interested in a lap-sit class at the Library? If there are interested parents with children ages birth to two years of age, we would schedule a time at the library for one lap-sit a week. Stories would be read and games played, finger plays and maybe a professional guest speaker to give you more information on dental care, immunizations, ect…. If there is enough interest these classes would begin after the first of the year. We would need a minimum of five families to make this work. Join us on November 3, 2012 for International Gaming Day! 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. at the Library. We will play all kinds of games and have refreshments and door prizes. If you like to play games please plan to join us. Fun for all and everyone is welcome.

The Kearny County Library is participating in the 1st Annual Star Wars Reads Day. The Star Wars Reads Day is this Saturday, Oct. 6, from 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. We already have some display items up and will be bring in additional display items for that day.
