Tomorrow, Saturday July 13, at 10:00 a.m. will be the rodeo parade for Lakin.  You can join the library staff and walk in the parade.  Meet in the North side parking lot, of the “East Grade School”, around 9:45 a.m. wearing your summer reading t-shirt.  Add rodeo spirit and wear your boots and shorts.

At 2:00 pm today will we meet in the library’s meeting room for some Kansas animal trivia,  and then take a tour of the  Dig Trailer, brought to us by the Kearny County District Conservation office and Julie Jones.  As you walk through the trailer you will get a sense of being underground.  Cool!    Everyone is welcome. 

Tonight is the last outside movie.  It looks like it is going to be a great night for some summer fun. Movie will begin about          9:45 pm.     There will be non-profit groups there to sell consessions.

Mad Science will be today at the Memorial building.   Show will begin at 2:00 pm.  Join us for a fun time.     The show will run for about 45 minutes.   We hope to see everyone there.

Tuesday, June 25th we will be having a  movie at 2:00 pm in the meeting room at the library.  You must sign up to come to the movie.   It will run about 2 hours.    Call the library to signup,  we still have several spaces open.
