The Kearny County Library spring story hour will begin with sign up on March 10th.     Story hour begins  on March 24th, with 3 sessions for children ages 3 to 5.  Sessions are  Monday, and Wednesday 2:00-3:00 pm and Friday morning 10:00 -11:00am.   You can sign your child up for one session.  Come by the library  or call to sign  children up.    620.355.6674

On February 14, 2014 we had our very first Brick Day.    We had over 40  adults and children, come to the library to build with legos, kre-os, and mega blocks.  We had six kits that we were giving away after the kids got them put together and were on display in the showcase for two weeks.     Everyone that came got to put their name in the bucket for a chance to win a kit.

Monday, March 3, 2014, the library will be closed for our work day.  It’s that time of year where we really need to get things back in order  to make it easier for staff and patrons to find the items they want.  We  are sorry for any inconvenience  this may cause! We will reopen at 9:00 am on Tuesday, March 4, 2014

Please plan  to join us for our 1st Annual Brick Day.     February 14, 2014, from 3:30 pm to 6:00 pm.       See if you have what it takes to be a real Brickmaster.   Enjoy building with Legos, Kre-o, and Mega blocks.    There  will be refreshments and several different project kits.    Everyone is welcome.

The library will close at 5:00 pm on Tuesday, December 31, 2013. We will be closed January 1st, 2014 for the New Years holiday. The staff wishes a Happy New Year to each and everyone..We will
