Join us on Friday, October 17, 2014 for Star Wars Reads Day.   We will begin at 2:30 pm and go until  5:00 pm.     We will have crafts, food, drinks, door prizes,  games, and movies!    Plan on joining us.   My the Force be with you!

The library will close at 3:30 on Friday, Oct. 3rd for the Lakin homecoming parade.   The staff will hand out bags  before the parade.   We will reopen on Sat. morning at 10:00 am.   Have  fun at the parade and be safe.

This Friday night,  the Kearny County Library will be handing out  school colored footballs and pompoms at the gate.  We will  be in Deerfield and Lakin.  Students can choose one  while supplies last.   Have fun during homecoming and support your Broncs and Spartans.
