We want to say a great big thank you to everyone who  helped with and brought cars and motorcycles to our hotrod day.   It was great and lots of fun.      Thanks to the City of Lakin for bring the barriers for the car show.       We are so glad so many people  came out and looked at the great cars and motorcycles.    The kids had a great time racing pinewood derby cars on the Cub scouts track that Pam & Dan Woellhof brought.  They also got to paint a small wooden car of their own.

Come join us on Friday, March 11,2016 for  “Hotrod Day”.   We will start  at 2:00 pm  and go until 4:00 pm.    We will have several hotrods and fancy cars parked on the north side of the library for you to view.    Come  into the library and you can paint a street rod for yourself and enjoy some cool refreshments.   If you have a pinewood derby car you can bring it with you and race it down the Cub Scouts track.  It will be a fun day for everyone.    Sponsored by Kearny County Library  and Linn Energy.
