First Responders Afternoon

Come to the library on Friday afternoon at 2:00pm   for our   “First Responders Afternoon”.   We will have several first responders bring a selection of their units  tot he library for everyone to look at and ask questions.  We  will also have a craft and snack.   Join us October 14, 2016, from  2:00pm to 4:00pm.

Humanities Speaker

Please join us on October 17, 2016     at the Kearny county senior center for a  covered dish lunch, beginning at 12:00 pm  (noon). This is the monthly meeting of the Golden Agers Club of Kearny County.  After a short business meeting,  we will have a wonderful presentation from Leo E Oliva, he will speak to us on “Women Writers on the Santa Fe Trail”.      Women writers on the Santa Fe Trail were some of the first women to travel across present  Kansas.  This presentation  looks at four remarkable women who wrote their own stories.       Everyone is welcome.    For more information  please call   620.355.6674
