Over the next few months the schedule for the Library Board meetings has been changed so members can attend other functions. January meeting: Tuesday, January 24, 2012, at 7:00pm February meeting: Thursday, February 23, 2012 at 7:00pm March meeting:   Tuesday, March 27, 2012  at 7:00pm These meeting are open to the public.

The Kearny County Library will be closed on Monday, January 2, 2012 for the New Year Holiday.   We wish everyone a happy and prosperous 2012.                              

The Kearny County Library will be closed on Friday, January 20, 2012  for a staff workday.  We are sorry for any inconveience this may cause.                                                

The Christmas tree in the foyer is a “In Loving Memory” tree.  For a $3.00 donation you can get a small frame ornament to insert a picture of your loved one that has fought the battle with cancer.   All donations go to the Local American Cancer Soceity.                                                       

We are accepting donations of hats, mittens,& scarves for the children of Kearny County who are need of a little help. You can drop off your donations at the front desk at the library through the end of December. We would like to Thank you in advance for your  help.
