Thanks for your “Warmth”

The library had our mitten   tree up this year.  If you donated   mittens, gloves, or stocking hats, it was very much appreciated. All the items were divided   between the Lakin and Deerfield schools, for children that may need mittens or hats.    We collected   1 hat, 46 pairs of gloves and mittens.  A big thank you …

New Year Holiday Closing

The library will be closing at 5:00pm on Thursday, December 31, 2015 and will remain closed  on January 1, 2016.  The library will open on Saturday, January 2, 2016 at 10:00 am.      Have a safe and Happy New Year!  

Mitten Tree

We are accepting donations of gloves, hats and mittens.    You can bring them to the library and place them on our tree.    We will have the tree up through January 15th, 2016.  We will then take all the items and divided them between the Lakin and Deerfield Schools for kids that don’t have …
