Copier  –   .25 Cents per black & white copy,   .50 Cents per color copy

Fax    –   $2.00 for the use of the machine, plus 40 cents a page sending.       Receiving  30 cents a page

Public Access Computers  – Must have contract signed and on file.

Laminating  -$1.00 per foot thin laminate, $1.00 8 x 11 thick laminate sheet

Scan -free

Interlibrary Loan  – If you need a book, movie, audio, etc… we don’t have, we can get it for you from another library for free

Accucut Die Cut Machine  –  This machine uses dies to cut many letters and shapes.  It can be used on fabric or paper, and foam.  It is avaiable during library hours when the meeting room is free.

    I am a postal history collector and own an envelope from a registered letter that was mailed at Chantilly, Kearney Co, Kansas on August 13, 1889. The letter appears to have been mailed by someone named F.L. Pierce. According to my research, the post office at Chantilly operated between 1887 and 1895. However, after a great deal of searching, I cannot locate any other information about Chantilly. I would particularly like to know where in Kearney Co the town was located, its estimated population around the 1890 time period, and what the economy in the vicinity of Chantilly might have been like .

    If you or anyone you know can assist me, I would appreciate a brief summary of whatever information you might have on this little town.

    My mother, Mary Katherine McBee Kraus, was born in Lakin in 1931 and spent the next twenty years of her life there. She particularly mentioned to me how much she valued the library there when she was a child. I was wondering if you have photos of the library as it existed in the 1930s and 1940s.

  4. Hello, I just talked to Julie at the Museum and she thinks the Library was located at the courthouse. She will find out if there are pictures when it used to be there.
